boones ferry primary bioswale design

In partnership with the City of Wilsonville and Boones Ferry Primary, Habitat Landscape Design collaborated with four 5th grade classrooms to enhance the school’s existing stormwater facilities. Students learned about local watershed and native plants and animals vital in keeping our ecosystems balanced and healthy. 109 5th graders participated in an interactive design charrette, selecting native plantings based on their attributes for the school’s central bioswale. They also designed supporting educational signage and assisted in final planting.
